Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery is a locally owned family business and we strive to ensure customer satisfaction and supply our customers with quality products and services.

We endeavour to keep stock levels high, however, due to our bricks and mortar shop having high foot traffic this is sometimes not the case.  We also stock a high amount of seasonal and high demand items which are not available all the time. We attempt to the best of our ability to make sure that the stock shown on the website is available.

Pricing

Our prices are in $AUD and include GST.

Prices are regularly updated and Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery reserve the right to make changes to pricing at any time. We endeavour to provide correct pricing at all times.

Shipping & Tracking

We offer flat rate shipping throughout Australia of $20 for orders under $150.  Free shipping is offered on orders over $150.

Please allow 2-3 business days for your order to ship once we have finalized payment.

We ship with Australia Post

We will happily ship any product overseas. Please contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.au and we can give you an international shipping quote.

Instore collection

Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery happily offers a click and collect service through our Ballarat store.  Photo ID will be required upon collection.

Returns/Exchange Policy

For all refunds and exchanges please first contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.au  .  Or you can stop into our Ballarat store.

Change of mind

We will happily refund or exchange a product if you change your mind (meaning the product is the wrong size, colour or style and non faulty) as long as the following is met;

  • Proof of purchase is provided.
  • Is within 14 days of purchase.
  • The product is in saleable condition – unused, clean condition with all sealed, original packaging and/or tags attached.
  • All footwear has their inner packaging correctly in place, soles are completely clean and accompanied by the original box.
  • All horse wear and tack is unused and free from hair, dirt, feed, bedding, grass, manure and mud.

We reserve the right to refuse the return of a product due to change of mind in the event we believe it raises safety concerns.  This in particular refers to riding helmets and safety vests.

All postage/shipping costs related to change of mind refunds/exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds will not be provided until we can confirm the items/products have been received by Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery and have been deemed to meet the above criteria.  If the products do not meet the above criteria, they may be returned to you.

Refunds will be paid back into the customers PayPal account or credit card and may take 5-10 business days.

Faulty Items

If you believe you have purchased a faulty item please immediately contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.au .  Or you can stop into our Ballarat store.

In many cases the faulty item will need to be returned to our Ballarat store and then on to our suppliers for assessment of the fault. 

This may include replacement, repair or refund.  This can however take some time.  In all cases, we will do our best to provide you with a timely resolution and keep in contact with you during this process.

To action any replacement, repair or refund on a faulty product, Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery must be shown proof of purchase.

Incorrect item sent/Item different from advertised

In the event we have sent you the incorrect item or the product is different from pictured/described please immediately contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.au .  Or you can stop into our Ballarat store.

We will do our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

Incorrect Shipping Address

The Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team ask that you make sure to provide the correct shipping information and address.  Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery is not obliged to resend the order to the correct address at our expense and additional costs may be incurred when we resend the order.

Privacy Policy

Hewitt & Whitty understand that your privacy is important and ensures that information provided by you is collected and held in accordance with relevant Australian Privacy law.

If you choose to provide your personal details to us, we may collect the requested information from you including your name and contact details and any other information that you supply to us.

Any information we collect is used to assist in providing you with relevant consumer information such as notifying you of new products, instore events and offers that may be of interest to you as a valued customer.

We do not disclose information that we hold to unrelated companies outside our corporate group for marketing purposes.

As required by law, you may opt out from direct marketing material that we may send.
