The Half Round helps those horses that are hitting themselves by not having a sharp edge on them that will break the horses gait or skin then causing other issues.
Once again, the outer side is like an Outer Rim shoe but the inside is half round for a good reason. The reason for this is so the horse grips with the outside of the shoe & not the whole shoe hence eliminating the need for a trailer &/or weight on the outside of the shoe.
